How to Meditate and Create the Life You Deserve

Every thought you think becomes a reality somewhere in the world.  This means everything we do brings entire universes into being with other dimensions.  This may be hard to believe for some of you.   Some may even think this is crazy. It is through the thoughts you choose and the actions you take that you create your own reality.  Every moment we have choices to take us to the reality we want to create.  The key is to truly embrace this statement here and learn how meditation can help with this process.

Meditation is a practice where an individual operates or trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or for the mind to simply acknowledge its content without becoming identified with that content, or as an end in itself.  It is a means of accessing greater awareness and always starts with an open mind.

So how does one meditate?  There are many ways to meditate but let’s stick with one basic practice here.  It is important to commit to daily practice just as you would any other important activity.  It is also important to go into this process with passion to truly see your true purpose.   A still, calm mind that allows you to be in the moment is powerful to create clarity.  This clarity is necessary to be more decisive and enables you to create the life you deserve.  Here are the key steps how to meditate.

  1. Sit in a relaxed way keeping your back straight and head level.
  2. Slowly breathe in and hold for three to four seconds then release. You can also choose a calm word like “peace” to repeat that helps to get you into rhythm with the process.
  3. When thoughts come into your head, gently bring your focus back to the breath or word. Conduct for ten minutes to start and work up to 15 or 20 minutes per day
  4. Finish your mediation session each day with a thought of gratitude in the moment.

In time, learning to master the art of being in the moment through mediation will become a new healthier habit that serves you well.  It will bring new clarity to the life you envision for yourself.  It clears the clutter or noise each day and allows for your heart’s desire to come to mind.  New ideas and more positive feelings come into play from your inner dialogue with subconscious to conscious mindset.  Your mind also becomes more open, and you will see that the Universe wants to give you what you really desire. Accept and be in the flow.  There is a better choice that emerges that empowers you to step into a new reality.

The most important part of this process is seeing where the root cause to your challenge stems from childhood. When fully released from your mindset and body through the steps of awareness, acceptance, and forgiveness, the solution will present itself to fulfill your life’s desire or purpose going forward.   You will experience the same negative feelings or emotions through different situations over time until the root cause of your mindset barrier is fully released.  This can apply to your business issues, your finances, personal well-being, and relationships.  In fact, it can be all of them at the same time as well.

Finally, you have to be kind to yourself during this process.  Studies show that self-kindness releases comfort hormones, and daily practice will have a cumulative effect over time. So, with an open mind, careful thinking, and natural compassion for self and others, you will begin to see more of the possibilities that are offered to you by the Universe, which in itself is infinite!
